Join us for vinyl listening session and conversation about Billie Holiday, her music, and her connections to Colorado's rich jazz history! We'll play vinyl records from the Denver Public Library's collection and explore the history of Five Points (Denver's "Harlem of the West"), Billie Holiday, Denver's jazz scene, and the musicians and stories connecting them. 

This free event is presented by the Arvada Center and the Blair-Caldwell African American Research Library (Denver Public Libraries), alongside our production of Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill. The conversation will be compelling for anyone who enjoyed the production, or has interest in jazz history and Billie Holiday!
