From imaginative retellings of classic tales to unique and earnest stories of human connection, plays in the Black Box Theatre warm our hearts, challenge our minds, and entertain us entirely. In its fourth year, the Black Box Repertory Company features a rotating cast of actors who shapeshift from one role to the next.
While our building is closed to the public, the directors and cast of this year's Black Box Repertory season are hosting versions of their nightly post-show talkbacks virtually in their living rooms - so everyone can revisit these productions in their own homes.
Director Geoffrey Kent and actors Kevin Hart, Kevin Rich, Edith Weiss and Zachary Andrews talk about Agatha Christie's Murder on the Orient Express. From staging a murder mystery in a unique space to the famous mustache - listen in to this virtual talkback.
Director Emily Van Fleet, and repertory company members Annie Barbour, Jake Mendes, Anastasia Davidson and Madeline Chilese held a Living Room Talkback to discuss the Arvada Center's spring production of Shakespeare's most popular romantic comedy - A Midsummer Night's Dream.
Join director and Arvada Center Artistic Director of Plays Lynne Collins as well as the cast of Small Mouth Sounds for a very special Living Room Talkback - a look back on a production that never had a chance to open.
The Black Box Repertory Season is presented by members of the Arvada Center’s Black Box Repertory Company of actors, directors, technical artists, and designers. Audiences will see the repertory actors throughout the season in a variety of roles. Since its inception in 2017, the Black Box Repertory company and its creative staff have been recognized as a groundbreaking and relevant component of the Colorado theatre community.
