This Thursday in our Front Porch Series, the smooth, honey-coated voice of local multi-instrumentalist (seriously, she can play banjo, guitar, ukulele, piano, drums, egg shaker – whatever you got) Daniella Katzir will transform the Arvada Center front plaza into a smoky jazz club – although the only thing smoking will be her music. Previously in the bands Homestyle and Magnolia Row, Katzir has taught countless students since she began teaching lessons at Swallow Hill Music in 2011. With both private lessons and group sessions available, any budding musician would have so much to learn from her.
Born in Israel with roots extending into Bulgaria, France, Puerto Rico, and Spain, her eclectic background and musical influences include the Gipsy Kings, Motown, Pink Floyd, and music in English, Hebrew, and Spanish. Check out some of her music below and join us this Thursday as the Daniella Katzir Band plays her mesmerizing and theatrical blend of Americana folk, East Coast funk and soul, swing, jazz, and blues. Don’t be surprised if you find yourself dancing!
